About

Jon Higgins is a photographer and architectural technologist passionate about archaeology and cultural resource management. He is interested in the use of photographic technology for cultural resource and heritage building conservation, and is currently studying Cultural Resource Management at the University of Victoria. He is a member of the Explorers Club, director and publicity chair of the South Eastern Alberta Archaeological Society, and previous director of the Heritage Resources Working Group in the City of Medicine Hat, Alberta. 

Current projects include 3D scanning, photogrammetry, immersive 3D visualization, aerial imaging, and the exploration of advanced photographic technologies for optimizing cultural resource management.
